![]() ![]() It does shed some new light on Gwyn, the Furtive Pygmy, what was going on before the first Dark Souls, what goes into creating a world, and perhaps most ultimately, what the titular "Dark Soul" actually is, but it does so in typical Souls fashion where everything is so intentionally vague and cryptic that it feels like anything you could gleam from this DLC would be just speculation and fan fiction. As the final bit of DLC for the entire series, I'm sure a lot of people were hoping for some answers to some of the nagging lore questions that have been around since the first Dark Souls, but this DLC may actually pose more questions than it answers. Then head up the stairs and you will find this weapon laying amongst some rubble.Per usual, the story is so incredibly vague this time around, with no clear explanation for what's going on. ![]() Now all you will need to do is finish him off with some quick stabs, and the mighty enemy will fall before you. Unlike other enemies, this will trigger a special animation where your character will deal an insane amount of damage to this foe. Once the fight begins, quickly run up the stairs on your right and try to perform a plunging attack. This is one of Dark Souls III The Ringed City’s newest enemies and he can be quite challenging if you don’t know how to properly attack. Go up the staircase and you should see a giant headless guard waiting for you at the top of some rubble. Either kill them, or just run by if you don’t have the time, and head left past the mage. To get this weapon, jump down from where the Old Hag is located and head across the bridge to the broken courtyard full of crawling enemies. Undoubtedly one of the coolest new weapons to be introduced into Dark Souls III via The Ringed City expansion is the Aquamarine Dagger.
